An unfortunate case of mishearing initiates the plot for The Pirates of Penzance, resulting in a dramatic change of direction for Frederic who sets a course to become a pirate rather than a ‘pilot’! The twists and turns of this classic operetta unfold with ingenious characters, sublime lyrics and some of the best-known songs in opera.

“Thank you so much for the great performance of The Pirates of Penzance which Opera Anywhere gave on Saturday. It was a pleasure to work with such a well-organised and professional company and our audience loved the show which made an exciting finish to the festival.” - Claire Tocknell, Church Stratton Festival, August 2024
“Just a quick email to say how much Barry and I enjoyed the performance on Saturday night. It was a full-on, energetic Pirates of Penzance with great singing and acting. A reminder of the cleverness of G&S’s work with an individual delivery that we were delighted with.” - Philippa Muir, Sutton Courtenay, August 2023
